It’s official… Elliot Coleman is Tesseract’s new vocalist

As reported on Sunday morning, Tesseract played their first show on Saturday night with new vocalist Elliot Coleman (of Sky Eats Airplance and Of Man Not Of Machine). The band has released an official statement announcing Coleman joining the band and confirming the departure of Dan Tompkins. Read the full statement HERE.

Tompkins commented on his departure: “This has been the most difficult decision I have had to make in my career as a singer. My priorities in life have changed and as such I can no longer continue with the band.”

The statement also confirms that Tesseract are working on a new record already but will also honour all touring schedules that were booked for the remainder of this year, including a European headlining run and an opening slot for Between the Buried and Me and Animals as Leader is the States.
