Megadeth
have unveiled the artwork for their new album, Th1rt3en, to be released on November
1st. This, the follow-up to 2009’s storming record Endgame, sees the return of
Vic Rattlehead, even if you don’t see his face. Th1rt3en, the band’s 13th album
of course, is a horrific title for the record but this slick artwork has
compensated for that with the ominous image of Vic with his back turned,
surrounded by dim-lit candles and what appears to be strange hieroglyphic-like
scrawling on the walls.
Megadeth has
been playing some new material live of late, particularly during their Big-4
dates throughout the summer so a full new song is sure to be upon us surely.
Stick around.
